Music As Medicine's Open Road Tour featuring Diane Patterson and Lydia Violet will make its Oakland stop in the magic garden of the Strega House, offering an outdoor evening concert filled with music meant to inspire resiliency in the spirit and a fire in the heart.

Mr. Sophie's House of Sapphic Arts and Acts is a small scale feminist performance speakeasy and arts space in East Oakland that is dedicated to developing and promoting artistic and community based work by queer, lesbian, trans and dyke self identified women. All genders (trans, intersex, genderqueer, cis) are welcome to attend the events. The space is in a private home in East Oakland (about a 25 minute walk from BART) with events that are speakeasy style invite only.
