The Dyke Homestead was born of my dyke homestead; I grow, harvest, collect and make what my life needs, by way of delighting my belly, eyes, and heart. The making itself is good medicine.
What’s lovelier than the confluence of Beauty and Use? Branches become Judaica. Light becomes photos. Ink…prints. Herbs…Witchery. Wood becomes a carved block, then a patch (on fabric that was once something else). Using what’s to hand, bringing forth the joy in things, giving stuff new life (keeping out of the waste stream) all this lights me up. I enjoy the stories of things. Knowing them feels like walking in the world, rather than on it. I hope to share that feeling with you, through these goods.
So, what will you find at The Witch’s General Store? That which I love and use in my own sparkly, queer life. I made extra, just for you.
Thank you for supporting independent music through your belly and kitchen, as well as your ears.
